Gould League of NSW Centenary Celebration
Joining the Gould League in the Centenarians Club is the Gould League of NSW, celebrating 100 years in October 2010.
This event will be marked by community fete days at Wellington Public School, the birthplace of the Gould League of NSW. Festivities include an official ceremony featuring the handing over of the baton by long time NSW Gould Leaguer Syd Smith to Gould League Chairman, Craig Carter, Deputy Chairman, Andrew Higgins and Executive Officer, David Walker who will be in attendance.
They will be joined at the celebrations by local MP Russell Turner representing the Govenor of NSW, Regional Director Carole McDiarmid representing the Director General of the NSWDET, and the Mayor of Wellington, Anne Jones.
Friday 15th October 10:00am - 2:00pm
Mini fete with a range of stalls and amusement rides.
Official Centenary Ceremony commences at 12 noon.
Saturday October 16th 9:00am - 1:00pm
Environment Expo.
