Wrigley has a longstanding, all-encompassing
policy to minimise the environmental
impact of its operations. This
includes minimising waste in the manufacturing
process and designing packaging to minimise
material used while keeping the product healthy.
Wrigley first printed "Use this wrapper to dispose of gum" on packaging in 1933 and other manufacturers have since followed suit.
 Look
on the packaging and you will
see a
graphic showing
the ‘bin it’ symbol.
