Bug Blitz™ - Hugh Williamson Foundation

Boy and girl looking at bug on leaf Gould League was commissioned by the Hugh Williamson Foundation to develop Bug Blitz™ curriculum for primary and secondary schools to assist teachers and students to implement Bug Blitz™ programs in their own schools and communities.

Bug Blitz™, the creation of renowned naturalist and scholar Professor Edward O. Wilson of Harvard University, is a bug identification and recording activity that helps to indicate habitat health. The Hugh Williamson Foundation has been leading the development and delivery of Bug BlitzTM programs in Australia and internationally in conjunction with the E.O. Wilson Foundation.

Curriculum units of work for levels 3 and 4 have been developed and level 6 is on its way. Schools that would like to utilise these resources can contact The Hugh Williamson Foundation.
