Activity Options
- Hands-on, practical skill building sessions (half day)
- Auditing and planning improvements (half day)
- Or combine both activities for a full day program.
Program Themes
Themes include:
- Wildlife Habitat or Vegie Gardening
- Composting and/or Worm Farming
- Avoid, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
- Water Conservation, Harvesting and Quality
- Energy Conservation, Climate Change, Greenhouse Gas Reductions
If you have an environmental and/or sustainability topic not listed, please contact us for more information – we may be able to tailor a program for you.
Student numbers
Maximum 30 students per class. Adults are free – bring as many as you’d like.
Excursion Programs
Most programs are half day unless otherwise noted. Schools can combine progrmas to create a full day program on request.
Half day:
- Morning session: 9.45am – 11.45am including 15 minute snack/toilet break
- Afternoon session: 12.30pm – 2.30pm including 15 minute snack/toilet break
Full day: 9.45am – 2.30pm including 2 x 15 minute snack/toilet breaks and a 30 minute lunch break.

Marine Programs
Marine programs are run at Ricketts Point Marine Sanctury in Beaumaris using the facilities of the Marine Care Ricketts Point Marine Education Centre. Our marine programs are available ONLY as a half day program; as a morning or afternoon session, subject to tide times.

Outreach programs
Outreach programs are run at your school . We can run a series of 1 hour sessions with up to 30 students per session per day.
