Western Bulldogs Healthy Lifestyle Workshop

The Healthy Lifestyle workshop was held at Burbank Oval, Williamstown on 6 May 2008. Eight schools attended the workshop to learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Western Bulldogs Dietician Louise Flazon spoke to the students about healthy eating and nutrition and why it is important to be regularly exercising. The students then were then asked to draw what should be in a healthy lunchbox and then explain their choices to the group. Everyone did a fantastic job!

After a healthy snack of bananas, water and natural yoghurt, students were invited outside to participate in some fun activities. Footballer Tim Callan helped out some keen young footballers and gave them some goal kicking tips. Even some of the teachers got involved and kicked some fantastic goals!
