Win a Marine Program at Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary & Education Centre in 2013

Applications closed 10th December 2012

Long time environmental education specialists, Gould League, together with Marine Park custodians, Marine Care Ricketts Point Inc., are providing an opportunity for 10 primary and secondary schools to participate in a grant-funded* two-hour marine education experience for up to 60 students in one of Victoria’s Marine National Parks: Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary, Beaumaris.

Normally valued at $725 + GST, this marine program will provide your students with an enriching learning opportunity and your teachers with valuable professional development through a series of discovery-based activities in and around the Sanctuary and Marine Education Centre.

Gould League educators will bring you up close and personal with Victoria’s unique marine and coastal settings and biodiversity. You’ll also learn how to care for our marine environment!

This opportunity is thanks to funding from the Victorian Environmental Protection Authority and Yarra Plume consortium, which is led by St Kilda Eco-Centre, to promote and educate the community about water quality issues in Port Phillip Bay.
